A German aid fund helps build 3 concrete bridges in Ben Tre

Ben Tre's Society of Sci-Tech for Roads and Bridges has held the inauguration ceremony and put into use 3 new concrete bridges in An Ngai Trung, My Thanh, and Vinh Hoa Communes, Ba Tri Districts.

And the above mentioned are among the many bridges that Mr W.P. Schimtz-Stifftung has done so far for Vietnam. He has said, he wants to leave something truly meaningful in Vietnam during his last years of lifetime. To date, W.P. Schimtz-Stifftung has help build totally 20 bridges for rural Vietnam (total expenses of VND500 million).

In 2004 and 2005, the Society of Sci-Tech for Roads and Bridges invested to build 10 bridges in Thanh Phu District, another 10 bridges were built in Giong Trom and Ba Tri Districts. In the coming time, the Society is planning to ask the W.P. Schimtz-Stifftung fund to further support Ben Tre to carry out its plan to build 75 more bridges in rural areas. An answer has been promised by the organization.

The expneses for building the above bridges were sponsored by the W.P. Schimtz-Stifftung fund, a German charity organization founded by Mr W.P. Schimtz-Stifftung, 92.
