Another suspending bridge put into use in Long My Commune

After three months of construction, the suspending bridge in Village 1, Long My Commune, Giong trom District has just been completed and put into use. The bridge, the second of the kind being built in Long My Commune, is designed with suspending cables.

It is 1.6 metres wide and 65 metres long, crossing the Giong Sau arroyo to connect the Village 1 and Ray Village, totally costing VND360 million, mostly sponsored by Mr Toni Ruttimann, the Swiss philanthropist who is well-known for over 40 suspending bridges built for Ben Tre. Giong Trom District currently has 11 suspending bridges built by Mr Toni Ruttimann.
