UNFPA sponsoring training session of reproductive health journalism and reporting

The United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), with the collaborative assistance of the Vietnam's UNFPA project management board in Ben Tre and the Ben Tre's Radio and Telesivion Station, has opened a five-day training session for journalists, reporters, and freelance contributors on skills and knowledge to make news pieces and articles to transmit practical information about reproductive health to ordinary people.

After five days of training, attenders were instructed with useful knowledge on reproductive health and skill to take care for reproductive health, how to be a healthy mother and what adolescent reproductive health is.

Attenders were also assigned to practice with on-the-spot flash news and news report writing on the topic of reproductive health.

In addition to the training session, the UNFPA project management board also collaborated with the province's Women Association and Farmers Society to hold crassroot training courses for local members.
