Main functions:

The Service of Planning and Investment is a specialized arm of the People's Committee. Its function is to advising and helping the People's Committee to carry out state governance over planning and investment fields, including:

  • monitoring and conducting reports about general planning, eco-social development plans;

  • organizing the implementation and propopsing mechanism and plans for eco-social development;

  • assessing domestic and foreign invested porjects, assessing tender projects;

  • manage official development aid (ODA) and non-government organization (NGO) funds, and monitoring foreign direct investment projects in the province;

  • registering business establishments in the province; providing public services in the scope of authority;

  • doing some other duties as authorized by the People's Committee;


The Service of Planning and Investment is under direct authority of the People's Committee and professionally reports to the Ministry of Planning and Investment.
