Investment certificates handed to 3 new projects in the Giao Long IP
On January 14, 2009, Ben Tre's Industrial Parks Authority handed investment certificates to investors of the 3 new projects in the Giao Long Industrial Park. They include the RDC Company Limited, specialised in coconut-based products manufacture; the food producer Le Anh Company Limited to build an aquatic food manufacturing factory; and the Khang Minh Corporation manufacturing pharmaceutical products. Altogether, these companies invested a total sum of VND118 billion on a total land lease area of 27,600 sqm. Once going into operation, these projects would generate about 640 jobs for local people. Construction works for all these will be started in the second quarter of 2009.
The investment licencing of the above projects sends a good sign in the new year beginning, also seen as a good opening for Ben Tre's investment promotion activity in 2009.
