Ba Tri District launching project to serve children

The Youth Union of Ba Tri District has launched the children-serving project to “give 2,700 Full Moon lanterns and candle” to children and teenagers of poor familiesin rural and remote areas. Each piece of the lantern and candle is worth 9,000 Vietnamese dongs.

The project has been carried out among members of the Youth Union, teneegers and students in the district area. Each of the Youth Union units under control by the District Youth Union contribute 30 pieces of lantern anf candle, high schools donate 1000 more pieces, and the rest are given by secondary schools.

All of the lanterns would be given to targeted children during the occasion of the Mid-Autumn Full Moon Festival, which is one of Vietnamese traditional festivities.
