Another company starting factory construction in the Giao Long Industrial Park

The Dinh Phu My Limited Company held groundbreaking ceremony in August 31, 2006, in the Giao Long Industrial Park. The said factory will be sitting on a 7,100 sqm land area, and is contracted by the Naincons industrial construction company.

The CP Vietnam Livestock Limited Company, a 100% Thai-invested business, is going through the precedure to construct an aquatic breeding farm in Ben Tre.   Working with the province's leadership, CP Vietnam is reported to agree to lease 30 to 50 hectares of land to construct the Disease-free, High-quality Fresh water fish Breeding farm, with capacity of 180 posts per year. Fish breeding in the farm include mainly gift tilapia, red snapper and cat fish.

Tax exempt for preliminary processing of coconut meat

In an effort to support coconut manufacturers in stablizing their production and exporting activities, the People's Committee of Ben Tre has agreed and ordered the province's Tax Department to grant tax exempt for those who do the preliminary treatment raw coconut meat to supply to export desiccated coconut manufacturing companies in 2006.
