The Temple of Nguyen Ngoc Thang

The Temple of Nguyen Ngoc Thang is located in Giong Keo Village, My Thanh Commune, Giong Trom District, his place of birth.Right after his death on June 27, 1866, his body was taken back to his home village by boat, and buried on a small mound, and a temple was built by local residents to commemorate him.

The House of Mr Nguyen Van Trac

The House of Mr Nguyen Van Trac (Muoi Trac) is located in Hung Le Commune, Giong Trom District. This is where former Secretary General Le Duan had once been staying for more than 4 months between November, 1955 and April, 1956, in a field trip to the Southern battle fields to direct the revolutionary movement in the South as well as to survey the war situation at the moment to prepare for the research project "Outlines of The Southern Revolution"

The Beach-head of the Ho Chi Minh Trail by Sea

The Beach-head in Thanh Phong Commune, Thanh Phu District has an significant position in Viet Nam's history of fighting against foreign invaders. It was the cornerstone for the establishment of the Ho Chi Minh Trail by sea -an way out for Ben Tre as well as the Southern Revolution to build a liaison line with the North for full scale two-way exhanges of war information and directions, and invaluable support from the North.

The Base of the Sai Gon-Gia Dinh Communist Party Regional Committee

This base was coded T4 and Y4. It is located in Tan Phu Tay and Thanh An Communes, Mo Cay District. After the general uprising and attack of Tet Mau Than (1968), the Sai Gon and US forces counter-attacked fiercely, with intensive raids and destructive cannon strikes into liberal and other places that were suspected to be revolutionary shelters.

Where the First Communist Party Branch Committee Was Established in Ben Tre

By the end of April, 1930, the first Communist Party Committee of Ben Tre province was established at the house of Mr Nguyen Van Cung. The Committee then had 10 members, all had been members of the former Viet Nam's Revolutionary Youth Comrades Society. The Committee was established by Mr Nguyen Van An.
